Dr. Anup Das, is the founder of this prestigious Institute since its inception in 2017 and is currently the leading two hospitals in Varkala and Attingal in Trivandrum district of Kerala. He pursued his basic medical education from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, and Post graduated from VSS Medical College, Burla, Sambalpur University, Odisha. He completed his fellowship in Glaucoma and anterior segment from the prestigious institute - Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli and Madurai. He joined New Vision Eye Centre, Mumbai under Dr. Rupal Shah for Refractive surgery viz. LASIK and Femto LASIK in 2012. As a great academician and a surgeon, he presented more than 60 papers at National and international conferences. He is also engaged in writing chapters in books in glaucoma and actively training senior residents and surgeons across the institutions. His special interest is in Pediatric glaucoma, Refractory Glaucomas, and Phacorefractive surgeries. He is an active member of Lions Club International and involved in corporate social responsibility programs in the state and PAN India.
